The Spring Hunter Ed Class that was scheduled to start Tuesday, March 17th 2020 at the ECRG Club House has been cancelled. Below is an excerpt from an email from the Lead Instructor to the registered students and parents.
Good Afternoon, Due to the current situation with the CORONA VIRUS, a decision has been made to cancel this class. I am sorry to do this, but I believe it is prudent to do so for all the students and instructors health and well being. My next class will be in October. The dates are to be determined at a later date. I will keep the current roster of students. I will contact all of you by either email and or telephone to give you first chance at my next class. Next, I realize some of you may have wanted this class for the upcoming turkey seasons. Please check the GO WILD portion of the DNR website and review the “MENTOR” program. This may help. I greatly appreciate your understanding.
This issue is not just affecting this class. Classes statewide are being cancelled in light of the current health situation. Below is a letter that all Hunter Ed Instructors have received regarding this issue from the WI DNR. You can click on the link and download the pdf of the letter.
